PEA AND BEAN FORMS
DATES TO BE CONFIRMED
Please contact Ardington School of Crafts if you would like to be added to the waiting list and notified when new dates announced.
This class is suitable for those with some experience and is aimed at those who have completed the previous series of classes with Mary.
This is the last class in the series of a one-year programme of twining. This final part will be an opportunity to bring together some of the skills and techniques from previous classes in a project-based make.
We will be drawing on skills from flat to form, bases, warps, slits, edges and points plus pattern with colour and weave. If you didn’t attend some of these classes you will need a basic knowledge of twining in particular warps, slits, edges and points. However, Mary will be demonstrating stage by stage how to make each part, and there will be some flexibility in how you choose to make your own pea or bean.
This class is suitable for those with some basic experience. (The class will not be suitable for complete beginners – we plan to run the beginners classes again next year- please contact Ardington School of Crafts if you are interested).
Skills covered
- Setting up a start for a pea and bean form
